The Crater Lake National Park is believed to have no native fish until introduction in 1888. Kokanee Salmon and Rainbow Trout are now abundant in the Crater Lake Oregon as they thrive there naturally. This has allowed visitors of the Crater Lake National Park to fish even without license.
